Wallace Oil Company

Bob Wallace founded Wallace Oil Company in 1962 with $15,000 in savings and a $10,000 loan.  Bob worked for 10 years as an employee with Phillips Petroleum Company and 40 years as an independent distributor.  He played basketball for the Phillips 66ers, was an alternate for the U.S. team Olympic playoffs and is an inspiration to his family.

In 2002 Bob decided to 'officially retire' and sold the company to his two sons Jim and Dan Wallace.  Wallace Oil Company grew over the years into eight gas stations.  In 2008 Wallace Oil Company sold Las Animas and Fowler locations in order to expand the local services offered in La Junta.
